Tom Williams
Founder, Desert Island Survival

Three explorers pull sleds across a snowy landscape at sunset.

Tom Williams founded Desert Island Survival in 2016, running the first expedition in Panama. Since then, over a thousand castaways have followed him into the wild.

He is the winner of Alone UK series 1 (Channel 4), the show that drops contestants alone into remote Canadian wilderness to survive by finding their own food, water and shelter. He has also won a 367-mile race to the North Pole, cycled over the Andes, and sailed 8,000 miles from Canada to Chile.

Adventurer, entrepreneur, survival expert, and keynote speaker, Tom leads on bushcraft, wilderness survival, expedition leadership, island survival, fire lighting, and foraging.
