Big announcement: Special Expeditions planned for 2024

I have some exciting news for you – we have not one, but three special desert island expeditions planned for 2024. Which one will you choose?

Special 1: Helicopter jump + survival in panama

Imagine starting an adventure in style and arriving by helicopter. But there is more to the adventure, we will jump out of this perfectly good machine plunging into the deep blue and swimming to your tropical island on one serious high! After we land on the island, we’ll be taught essential skills for wilderness survival, such as constructing our own shelter, locating sources of food and water, and venturing out into the stunning environment alongside our expert bushcraft instructors. We’ll have no access to the outside world, no phones, no internet – just us. Then, after 5 days of training, we will have to complete the survival phase of 72 hours with little more than a machete.

Special 2: Want to be marooned but can’t get much vacation time?

We heard you and created this condensed version of our traditional Panama Desert Island Expedition.

During the 3-day duration of the program, our experienced guides will equip you with a thorough understanding of crucial survival techniques. These include constructing shelter, initiating a fire, locating and filtering water, and searching for sustenance through foraging. Our guides have years of experience in surviving in harsh environments and are certified in wilderness first aid, so you can rest assured that you are in good hands.

After your training, you will put your skills to the test on a deserted island for 2 days. Rest assured, we’ll furnish you with fundamental provisions like a knife, a receptacle for water, and a fishing kit to assist you in your quest for survival.

Special 3: Tonga Desert Island Expedition Extended time in paradise

This is our regular Tonga trip, but with extra time before and after to entirely soak up all the wonders and activities Kitesurf Tonga has to offer. Whether you just want to relax or practice your free diving on pristine reefs this is a great way to add extra time to your trip with your new island family.

So this is the plan. We’ll spend 2 days at the lovely KiteSurf Tonga Resort including humpback swimming before being stranded on a beautiful uninhabited island surrounded by pristine turquoise waters. We’ll learn how to survive in the wilderness, including building our own shelter, finding food and water, and exploring the beautiful island. After our training by our great instructors we enter the survival phase, the real deal. 72 hours with little more than a machete. After that, we’ll unwind and indulge in leisure activities such as kitesurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, free diving, and snorkeling for a span of 2 days at KiteSurf Resort.
